MDs have no clue. 50mg a wk, 100mg every other wk etc will just shut you down. My first MD, that I told to fuck off snd found another, offered me 100mg 1x a month. Suck it

Most general practioners have zero, and I mean zero knowledge about AAS, either about full-blown cycles or about HRT. And most Endos and Urologists have no clue about supraphysiological levels, but can provide some (usually limited) advice about blood testing and side effect maintenance. Regarding HRT: Good docs will give you options and listen to your history. When I went on HRT, my doc - he had monitored my bloods for 12 months - gave me three choices: the gel (terrible), 200mg/every two weeks injections (which is what I do now when I'm not on cycle) and the pellet (which I did for three years and really, really liked). I know about half a dozen men on HRT, all of them started at 200mg/every two weeks. No one started at 50mg/week. But, hey, what do I know?

Your dosage should depend on a number of things: your T levels, yes, but also other blood work levels, as well as additional physical and emotional markers. Too high, or too low, isn't just about one number - and docs who prescribe based on that are leaving out a lot of variables that may lead to a better, more accurate dosage and diagnosis.

Just went to doc (urologist) and he gave me 200mg every 2 weeks to start. He said he is good getting me to top of range 950ish. I asked about pinning every week and splitting dose and he wants to start with every 2 weeks, so I will get my bloods after 14 days from last pin and it should be low. Hoping he will up to 200mg / wk.

My doc has me on 150 a week.

200mg/wk for me. Keeps me between 1000 and 1200.
