Thank you for the thorough write up, I really appreciate it.

If you're not experiencing any other symptoms of low-t, 600 is an acceptable number. Anecdotally, I've been on replacement therapy for a long time (I'm 46) and if I hold steady at 600ish I feel great. What you may be implying is that all men react differently to replacement therapy, so doctors who adhere too strictly to a range of acceptable numbers sometimes fail to take into account the fallibility of the scale or the variety of factors which may indeed point toward the need for individual replacement therapy.

It's reasonable, but is there something specific about this range that would be beneficial to you? If you don't want docs to be hung up on a number, you shouldn't be, either. No disrespect meant, but I'm unclear about your symptoms, health, therapy goals, and testosterone experience. So it seems you have selected numbers at random.

sorry I could have been clearer in my write up. I agree with what you are saying, the issue is my body is feeling tired, inflamed, lower sex drive and less motivated as I age. I understand this is what happens with age but I dont like to be normal. im not one to sit around and not go 100% at everything. I have toned down my workouts to make sure my body is recovered and im not hurting myself. im not to worried about the numbers, I was just sharing that my numbers have dropped a fair amount over the 10 years and I have noticed the decline. When I was in the 900's (mid 20s to early 30s) I felt amazing, now i am in the 600s and starting to feel it.

oh sorry misunderstood, I thought you meant veteran on this site / using testosterone. I am not a veteran. do you know if its easier to just use the private clinic and pay the 150$ a month? I heard they will dial you in a bit higher and work with you more than a urologist in your local area. of course unless you meet a cool urologist and he works with you.
