Opioid Modulation for Preventing AAS Induced HPTA Suppression

      Hello to All

I read about using Naltrexone to enable the pituatry (HTPA) to operate on cycle.

Im a TRT guy and over 50, however i like the idea of not having functional component of my body completely wasting or stopping.

I will not link to the article because it's another forum and would like to see what others find and think of this principle.

The idea was to not keep the axis fully functional, but mildly exercised so avoid total and long term shutdown and allow a shorter and better PCT.

I have copied the title so thats the search string for those who may be curious.

Looking forward to hearing other points of view and hopefully sighted research.

      Thanks Brothers

I wouldn’t use naltrexone if you paid me. That may be true physically but naltrexone can also
cause mental changes in a person like:
Not feeling pleasure, when normally do
      -confusion
-discomfort while urinating or frequent urination
      -fever
-hallucinations or seeing, hearing, or feeling things that are not there Opioid Modulation for Preventing AAS Induced HPTA Suppression
      -itching
-mental depression or other mood or mental changesOpioid Modulation for Preventing AAS Induced HPTA Suppression
-ringing or buzzing in the ears
      -shortness of breath
-swelling of the face, feet, or lower legs
      weight gain

The two I highlighted are what I saw that drug do to people I know personally. So I could care less about my axis throughout my cycle, In fact if naltrexone put 30 lbs. of pure muscle in a week; I wouldn’t use it. It is a interesting study, I wonder what the motivation was for doing the study... I am guessing it is because of the recent increased use for alcoholism and drug addiction, (weight loss too), and men were complaining of sexual problems during the use of naltrexone. These drug companies will fund any study to push a drug(which Is great for saving a life from overdose) but the use of it outside of an EMERGENCY is super messed up,especially when courts order people to take a $3 drug and slap a $1,200 price tag on it. I thought clomid - hcg had bad sides! Lol. Apppreciate the post! Opioid Modulation for Preventing AAS Induced HPTA Suppression.
