      TRT and AI safe approach

I know there are already plenty of posts on TRT, and doses, and AI’s, and all of that. This is a question I had, still kind of had, and I have had several friends ask me.

Now I know that people have different opinions when it comes to “TRT/cruising”. Some say it’s not TRT if you are above a certain range that isn’t natural, and some still say TRT doses even when they are coming in at like 1700. I don’t want to debate that necessarily.

So, obviously bloodwork is king. I have read and seen that some guys can cruise anywhere between 100mgs-200mgs a week and not need an AI. Some guys need an AI like twice a week, some less, some more. Now I know when you first start TRT that you are not going to know right off the rip what your sweet spot is, but what is a safe starting ground? Like, if I run 200mgs a week for 4 weeks and do bloods, couldn’t I completely have induced serious estrogen issues, mainly gyno, with no AI? What if I’m running an AI..within 4 weeks couldn’t I have ran my E into the ground by then?

What is a safe starting point prior to getting bloods checked? Does it have a lot to do with feel until you get those initial bloods done? I obviously don’t want to run my E into the ground and I obviously don’t want to find ou my E is sitting at 200. I have also personally realized that I sometimes have a tough time determining if my I am having E issues, at least in regard to be lethargic. I mean I work like a dog and at times don’t get enough sleep so that could be it. Judge it off nips? Hard ons?

I know I was blabbing there but let me know what you guys think! Always wanting to learn, for myself, and to pay it forward in the future!

      -Jet

I myself believe ( although everyone is different) what you eat has a great effect on your estrogen levels. No matter what dose of test curtain foods contribute to raising estrogen levels. But I believe it also depends on the individual and there body type.

That makes sense and I have definitely read a substantial about of accredited research showing that diet significantly effects your estrogen.

      Thanks man

I believe foods have a LOT to do with many things while cruising or blasting . For me, when I run Tren I notice if I eat a lot of carbs I sweat like a pig when in bed. Lower my carb intake and I have less issues and sides.

I myself also noticed I’d rather have my estrogen levels higher than too low. When my levels are too low, my sex drive, libido, energy and sense of being sucks! Joints hurt too.

Oh okay, I do notice I feel much better if I’m not eating a ton of saturated fat

Everyone is different, I never run an AI even when running test in the 750 range, I only run an estrogen blocker (Nolvadex). In my opinion you would be safe running 1-200 mgs a week for three weeks or so then get your bloods pulled and check your estrogen. I agree with Crosstop in that I would prefer my estrogen a little higher than lower for the reasons he listed. My E levels are in the mid 30's naturaly not on cycle wich is slightly elevated to begin with. I can tell you one thing for sure, the last thing you want to do is crash your estrogen. It is a miserable time.

Thanks man. I will most likely not run an I and get my bloods checked here in the next couple weeks and see how I feel.

In appreciate your opinion and insight man.

I was started at 200mg Cyp a week, Lowered to 200mg E every 14 days(I split into 100mg a week) and it was much better. Now I started Aveed so it is totally a new thing . I did like 100mg Test E a week; I had been on so 1 shot a week was fine , never used my prescription Arimidex. Bloods always in good range. Now, that being said, some people look at test and get puffy nips, e2 is high , all that. I am still creating a definite above Trt program ; more of a TOTAL TRT PLUS type program for experienced lifters.
Target: men 45-70 . I tread lightly with AI/SERMS and mess with diet and supplements to try and improve things. Good luck finding your dose and getting it locked in. Seems to Change w each person and every couple years some new way comes out. Lol

That makes sense man. I NEVER had an issue keeping E between 30-35 with Asin 12.5 EOD but having that preexisting gyno from PH’s it didn’t matter.

I will get bloods and post here in the next 2-3 weeks so people can give me their take. Only blamed on doing Total/Free test (uncapped) and Estradiol. For just trying to dial this in is it really necessary to get LH/FSH at this time? I know many things like lipids can go into this but i figure test and E would be a good starting point so I’m not shitting out a ton of Money on bloods.
