Do I need TRT or something else? Current Testosterone serum: 694

Hi, need expert opinion please. Should I seek TRT or perhaps some other avenue for what I had thought was male menopause? I have typical symptoms, mostly muscle atrophy which even with unavoidable, occasional activity downtimes I had never noticed before a little over a year ago. My sex drive, however, remains very high including night erections.

Stats: 55 years old, 5’6”, 145lbs., 29/30” waist; no preexisting health conditions; fish primary source of protein. Exercise consists of home isometrics; yoga; jog; bike; racquetball; long walks on the beach…, but no weight training in a year.

I have minor gyno in right breast, as a result of my last very short cycle in Nov. 2018. Was on deca only (I know) for 2 months stopped when I noticed gyno. Prior to that, did a few cycles on and off around 2008 to 2010 with lifechanging results, no side effects. I currently still have a slew of orals and oils purchased in 2018.

      Bloods from last week show:

      Testosterone serum: 694
      Free testosterone (direct): 11.5
      T4 free (direct): 1.21
      TSH: 0.990
      Prostate Specific Ag. Serum: 0.6

Thanks for your help and advice.

What would be your purpose of taking it if you don't mind me asking? Not trolling at all. At you're age if you hop on you may have too be on or deal with the consequences of coming off. Sounds like your sex drive is high. Up to you my man. I'm sure someone with a bigger brain will help you more then me. Good luck brotha

I wouldn't do anything specially with the pre-existing gyno plus 694 is a great level for your age if anything maybe throw in some legit natty test booster supps 6 weeks on 6 weeks off. Or get a doctor to put you on nolva/tamoxifen 20mg ed for the gyno i got the endo to do that and my natty test was all the way up to almost 800 felt great!

You seem to be in in good shape. If it's the muscular atrophy that is bothering you aside from gyno I would say bring weight lifting or higher intensity activities into your regimen gradually. Muscular atrophy is more prominent the older a person gets, why not put up the best fight against it by proactively getting stronger and building muscle. It sounds like your body could handle it if you used consistent conservative linear periodization on a calisthenics or weight lifting program. Sometimes the smallest or simplest things make the biggest impact. I hope everything works out for you bro.
