Could Estradiol Be The Issue?
I've been on TrT for 3 years (150mg/week). My levels have been very consistent 1400 total T estradiol 74. I don't take any AI because I've never experienced the traditional high E side effects. Over the past year I've been waking up with extreme brain fog which lately I have not been able to shake. My sleep, diet and training are all on point. Could the 74 estradiol be the cause?

If it wasn't a problem in the past, I doubt it's the issue today but could be wrong. Brain fog can be attributed to any number of things.
Thyroid, sleep apnea, vitamin/mineral imbalance, reaction to certain foods, psychiatric issues. It would be nice to get a
definitive answer as to the cause but I'm afraid it will take some detective work.

I had some blood work done and everything was perfect. Doctor recommended antihistamines and that seems to be working. I feel like a moron for not thinking of that.

My doc recommended that I keep the aggressive form of estrogen down..estrodiol the range is 7.4 to 41. Mine is at 5.0 according to blood work. I've been on TRT for awhile. When I forget to take my Testosterone on that specific day(Saturday) and just push it back(til Wednesday) I tend to get aches, mental fog and low energy. I do take a Arimadex 1mg a week.

I hate that trt clinics prescribe arimidex. Its harsh on the bones, its effects vary greatly from person to person, its easy to crash your e with.
Aromasin.
Anywayyyy... Brain fog IS a symptom of low T... if your bloods come back with test and e around the same as always then that means look elsewhere. Ive missed test pins by a few days and it didnt (and shouldnt) really have any noticeable effects. If I go 2 weeks+ I start to notice the difference.
Bloods first and def look into any meds you may be on.

My doc just gave me 90 adex. I’ve never ran asin but have some of that on hand too. The adex had never given me noticeable sides. Been having trouble keeping my dick hard and I’m thinking it’s elevated e2.

Dialing in arimidex is difficult imo. Too much trial & error and in the meantime your bone density is being eroded. Thats a time bomb waiting 10-20 years down the road. No thanks.
Aromasin functions much differently and is far less destructive. It also helps boost free-test.
Dick issues can be from low e2 as well, another reason not to take something as strong as arimidex.

I agree with this 100%
I'll add...IMO & IME Asin is far better for long term use w/less drug interactions.
The only time I've crashed my Estradiol was with Adex.

Looks like I may be selling my adex then and stick with Asin. I know several guys who would buy the adex.

I could see adex being used as a quick emergency treatment to wipe out excess e quickly but for management purposes aromasin is a far better tool.
