Wonder why doctors dont tell you that prior to the test then? I go to the veteran's hospital and they didnt even tell me to fast, let along avoid sex. Then again, that's why this forum is important! Thanks again!

It was on my sheet for quest labs so I had to ask. Then wait for them to get a doctor who wasn’t sure. I ended up talking to a female doctor who is interested in endocrinology before I knew why. I want my tests as accurate as possible as I get older.

Are you on TRT now as a result? or do you remain natty? I'd assume you can't feel well at under 200. Thanks for chiming in.

iam on jatenzo 198mg bid and my levels came back at 2900 but i was injecting test too. i started of with 0 test in my body so since my level was so high my dr took me off test undeconate ( jatenzo ) thats better known as androil 40mg per cap. so the higher your levels your endo or urologist will shut you off until it comes down and iam 57 yrs old. good luck to everyone..

Been on TRT for over 20 years. Fasting has never been an issue or required. Abstaining from sex the same thing never been brought up at all with any of the 4 dr.s i have used for TRT. Being hydrated can make a difference with most test as condensed blood can make any numbers higher.

Could be relative to the panel you have done. I do a complete panel each time. The fasting may not be for the testosterone, but for the blood panel. Insulin, cholesterol, and total counts of blood.
