I just go right to it. Here is how i look at things. As long as i am eating every three hours that whole idea of needing food right after training is a waste of time. There is plenty of nutrient already in your digestive track to help with recovery. I just make sure i eat 1 hour before i train and then by the time i am done training and cardio its time to get home and eat again.
5.75 oz grilled chicken breast and greens
Training was good today i got to the gym a bit earlier and got in a great arm blast

That makes alot of sense. I've been drinking an amino drink before the gym because I have been training at night after I get off and I don't want a bunch of caffeine to keep me up all night.
Seems to be working but like you said if we are eating every three hours it might not be necessary to take it.

Good morning Lubes.
I did a lot of cardio today.
Breakfast was cottage cheese on toast and an apple, I didn't have lunch, I had a protein cookie instead, snack was a ginger cookie with peanut butter.
