whilst doing these I noticed that I could see and feel the exact part of the quads that the exercise is supposed to hit- the tear drop. One thing is for sure though, I wont be doing each leg back to back again; I was on the floor panting after a few sets. I will just do every set for each leg. Does anyone have an opinion of the smith machine vs barbell lunges? I felt it was alot easier to target the area you are trying to hit on the smith.
