      3-day split workout

HI, im new to the BOP glad to be here i was looking for any insight on 3 day split workouts i browsed the main page of the fitness forum and it seems like there are plenty of training related discussion about specific muscle groups but not on work out plans in general. I have done a bit of research wanted to get some experienced opinions.

      Thanks

What exactly are you looking for? Exercises, specific body parts to work together?

      Welcome to the BOP.

A good place to start might be a PPL routine, it's three phases lends itself naturally to a three day split.

I like 3 day splits - Push, Legs, Pull, Rest repeat - heavy compound movements and super setting. For me this gives me the rest I need plus allows me to workout each body part 2 x every 8 days.

If I am going out of town and know I won’t be able to workout for a few days I do a fully body workout of weighted dips/chin ups/pull-ups for upper body and squats and deadlifts for lower body.
