Intermediate Fasting
Can intermediate fasting be used during cycle between 1800-2000 calories a day. Or is that calorie count to low while on cycle?

Here’s the deal. Intermittent fasting is just a tool for dieting, or more so a strategy. So sure you can do it. Just make sure you understand and do it right. The most common and I think best way is the 16/8 rule. Meaning you fast for 16 hours then have a 8 hour window to gets meal in to reach you total daily calories. As long as you follow that guideline you’ll be g2g. Ideally you wake up, do a little fasted cardio; then break the fast and get a meal or two in, hit a workout, get another meal or two in (3-4 meals ideally 4 broken down to 500 calories based off the info you provided); then go back into your fast.
Hope that helps

What I do is 18/6. First meal is after mid day swim. It’s been working great. And I’ve done it before with success.

Just be careful man sometimes intermittent fasting can make u so hungry that you end up over eating and actually going into a calorie surplus. Trust me, I know from experience lol

I'm planning on starting Monday, so I guess my question would be. I will start the 8/16 to see how I do with it, if I lift at 5AM should I start my meals at 6AM till 2PM, and can I still drink water in a fasting state. I have been researching this and can't find a set answer....

Yes, you can drink water. What you want to avoid is anything that will cause an insulin spike. I've IF in past, but never IF while on cycle. My rule of thumb was water alone during my fast period. If you want though, You can find detailed lists of what will and will not spike your insulin.
