Pretty mellow day. Lots of busy work, nothing too physical or taxing. Plenty of energy to spend at the gym. Yes closed eye really helps I do this as well ! Also if you’re able to lightly press against the muscle by means of yourself or having a training partner helps big time. Chest depending on the position you are pushing tuck your chin to your chest, calves you can touch the back of them if doing a seated leg press.
Also contracting the muscle behind one you’re working if that makes sense ( ie squeezing your tricep on the way down from the top of a bicep curl) will help big time

Today was leg day and I finally broke 1,000 on the angled leg press.. super stoked on that... 1k has been a goal of mine for a while... now I’ll just continue at this level until all my reps catch up. I’ll move forward when I can hit 6-8 clean reps for 3 sets... until then I’ll focus on lower foot positioning to let my hams catch up... my legs were pretty taxed though and I abandoned the rest of the routine... I don’t consider this a fail as my legs were jello walking out the door. I’m happy with that.
