It was basically and in short, only suppose to be 30min surgery, back to work Monday no problem... just rebuilding my ear drum and re-attaching my hearing device implant to it... putting in vent tube... but after he got in there it turned into all this... this is the 4th time I’ve had to have this done...
We are suppose to have a pressure regulation function in our middle ear... mine is broken... I guess those ear aches/infections I use to get all the time as a kid, is the main root cause for all this now, as it’s rendered that function useless and inoperable... had my mother ever actually taken me to the doctor to get medication for the ear infections instead of letting them go until it eventually got better on its own, this would be a non issue.... if your babies get an ear ache, for gods sake just go to the doc and get ear drops until it’s gone... that’s when this condition happens. Young in age patients.
But it is what it is... the best way to describe it would be if you took a balloon and stretched it out in both hands, sucked on the middle broadside part until it forms a circle inside your mouth... then if you were to seal that bubble and then do it again to make a bubble within a bubble... then repeat the process as it just grows and grows and grows... the problem is, it takes out anything and everything in its path... the bone it presses against, gets eaten away at until it consumes everything in its path... so it literally took out all my inner ear bones necessary to process sound and send the right signals to my brain on what I’m hearing... so I ended up with an implant to take over that function. Since my nerve is still intact to send signals to my brain, they attach the implant to the eardrum to collect the vibrations and attach to the nerve so it can tell the brain to decipher what I’m hearing... it of course isn’t always 100% accurate and sometimes I’ll literally be talking to a stranger and their voice will turn into something from my past or some garbled demonic sounding crap lol... we have what’s called audible memories... our brain will cheat and just replay something if it can’t figure what else it’s suppose to be:.. or it will just mix a bunch of crazy shit together jumbling it all up...
Anyway I guess when he got in there he said it was probably a month or so away from completing the breach into my brain space... which the pressure would be not good for me... so they had to graft a patch to fix the hole and cut out the growth, install new hardware and rebuild it all... 4.5 hours... so, guess my money I saved for this isn’t going to be right lol... they will have to take payments. I was prepared for the original quote. Not for a complete overhaul.
So hopefully the tubes do their job and regulate that pressure for me... otherwise next year will be a repeat.. it’s quite frustrating...

The sounds extremely frustrating and excruciatingly painful.
I wish you the best brother. I did not know this condition even existed. Hopefully the surgery fixes you all up and you won't have to deal with more. Thoughts & Prayers brother.

Geezus it’s been a brutal little ride... I got a few days it looks like since I stopped taking the pain meds... today, despite feeling very cloudy from all the packing inside my head, I seem to have much more clarity... looking forward to being out of this mind frame.
Not sure wtf happened but I thought I was going in for a quick 30 min surgery with zero to no downtime...
So hopefully I haven’t been causing wreckage while I’ve been out of it... but I guess only time will tell...
It appears I’ve been taking the anavar still and all looks to be counted out as correct and where it should be....
I think I’ll stop into the gym for just some elliptical training today... just nice and easy to see how my body feels. Get the blood moving around a bit.... It doesn’t look like I’ve been eating very much. So that’s going to be fun rebounding on food... Friday is my follow up appointment, so I’m curious to find out what exactly happened. As apparently I do not know.
Sorry for the detour. I’ll take the next couple days to regain control of my situation and bring my mental game back into the forefront of clarity...
I do not like the pain meds. I do not like having multiple missing days and I’m hoping for the next one I can get by without using them. Fuck this noise.
Give me a couple days to get back in the swing. Thank you for your patience!

Day 181
Took pic yesterday, looking good healing wise.. hopefully will be gtg Friday morning when they pull out the packing from my the hole in my newly built ear drum lol... they better not fuck it up.. I don’t want to do this next year man...
Dropped some anavar upon wakeup, again pre-cardio workout..
Took my Monday regiment yesterday, I’ll say one thing, not eating healthy for those days, or not eating enough I’ll say, really looks gross on my body... it’s painfully obvious when my body is lacking in vitamins and nutrients...
Thank god the fog is pretty much gone... I felt the improvement after cardio today... grateful indeed:..
I’ll just cardio it up for a few more days, until they pull the stuffing out of my head... I can’t get it wet inside there and the sponge and packing would absorb the sweat... I have surfing ear plugs I use in the ocean. I’ll wear one in that ear after they pull stuffing out for a month to prevent causing issues...
Friday I’ll start with low low weight, high reps and do that for one week... then I’ll blast off again onto full lift mode and go to town to make up for lost time....
I’ll get the log dialed back in again once I add weights back to the workouts....
Sticking to 2k -2500 calories for now even though I’m not doing much... loading up on nutrient rich foods/shakes though...

It is all fiction.. I don't condone any of it in real life. I am not a professional or medical doctor just a figment of your imagination
