      Day 1 back at work, done... it’s funny how exhausted I was just from doing light work all day... the weight restriction is going to get old super fast... I’m use to being the mule, now I’m the one who needs help moving shit around or getting things to where I can work with it instead of bending over to it... but, pride aside, grateful I can listen to the doc and just do what I gotta do... this time next week I can be all the beast I wish to be with zero restrictions...

      Hit the gym for some cardio, jumped in the tanning bed for some color, which I don’t seem to tan very well anymore... my whiteness just absorbs it and throws it away lol... the pacific north west has bleached my skin... tomorrow definitely going to go to town with the light dumbbells and just do sets of 100 I guess lol

      Im pretty tuckered out though. I’m not going to lie. Glad I get the weekend so quickly after going back... that was a good call...

      I’m going to start getting ready for bed I believe...

      You're lucky you don't tan easily... I just as much as stay in the sun a few hours too long and I'll literally turn into a burnt lobster and be black faced for the next few weeks. Which is bad since I work outdoors... So I'm pretty much covered head to toe when I'm working.

      Went to doctors, got the stuffing pulled out of my head...

      Blew through light duty at work..

      Hit the gym and hit cardio first and said screw it and grabbed the 15’s and 10’s... I just didn’t stop moving for 30 minutes...

      I couldn’t decide on which muscle group to exactly target... so it ended up being shoulders, upper back, bi’s n tri’s... I just did reps and reps and reps.... everything lit up and was on fire and I just kept going and going... I didn’t want to stop...

      I decided not to get to crazy tonight with it... I’ll see how it turns out tomorrow with soreness... if it’s gtg, I’ll go ahead and bump the weight to no more than 40’s... see how that lands things... if still gtg, I’m going to take off like a rocket next week and not look back... I’ll of course stay away from movements that’ll cause me to not breath properly and put to much pressure upstairs in the noggin...

      I felt fire in my veins tonight and the delts seemed to ache a bit with the pump.. I ate plenty today in preparation for tonight lol...

      Next week I get to go on moderate duty for work... so I’ll at least get back out into the field and not be stuck in the shop doing inventory... which tbh wasn’t so bad. It was nice to have the couple easy days to get myself back into the saddle again.

      Reading through the log and my post-surgery words... is pretty funny honestly.. a few of my facts were a bit off but, pretty good and close enough though all things considered lol... I’ll let it fly.. just know this was the 6th time for this operation, but it was the 4th time for this doctor that they’ve opened up my ear... I’m not sure where I got the old device was bits and pieces and destroyed inside of my ear though... the old one was left in there and was in good shape from what the doc said today lol.. maybe I needed to add to the story to make it more intense? or maybe I was mixing facts of the original fate of the middle ear/hearing bones and everything being destroyed during the initial first growth back in 2011? Dunno lol... fucking pain meds jacked my brain for sure though.... anyway, not that it really matters to anyone anyway, but I’m not typically a purposeful fact stretcher (when I’m of a sober mind lol) and wanted to clear things up... I hope there’s not many more out there to clean up Cowboys Accountability Log

      I know pain meds will make me all wonky and shit. I used to do them a lot recreationally when I was a bit younger. Pretty stupid now that I think about it, but we used to just get fucked up as kids. Maybe you were hallucinating rather than stretching the truth, cuz that's literally what would happen to me when I used to use em everyday. Reality became an alternate universe.

      In any case, Keep it up Mike... Stay strong. Did the doc say how long it'd take to recover?

      I Definitely think my reality was altered my brother... I’ve never been hit that hard by the pain meds before tbh... best thing I did for myself was jump off and just deal with the pain with ibuprofen... it took longer to clear my head than the time I was on them.. was a very odd situation to me though... I’ve never reacted this way before on the meds and I was on much higher doses before.. glad it’s over though!

      Doc said I should be gtg by end of the week.. it’s just swelling and avoiding not putting pressure in that area... I’m still on lighter weight for legs from my other stuff I had done... so that’s the only thing I can think of other than a sneeze that would cause unwanted pressure up there... so I should be golden ;0)

      I would imagine you don't want to do too much strenuous exercise as that would cause pressure too?

      If your kids are in their mid-20s, means you're old enough to be my pops Haha!! Whole time I thought you were in your early 30's based on your awesome physique photos. Looking great brother!

      Very much appreciate that my compliment my brother!! Lol yeah I’ve rounded the 40 marker this year. I had my one and only when I was just a pup ;0)

      The pressure to avoid is best described as what would be equal if maybe you were constipated and trying to really drive down and push it out... that’s the pressure to avoid.. so any weight that causes one to improperly breath for the movement, like holding the breath or anything like that... squats, heavy core style work ... that type of thing...

Since my nerve is still intact to send signals to my brain, they attach the implant to the eardrum to collect the vibrations and attach to the nerve so it can tell the brain to decipher what I’m hearing... it of course isn’t always 100% accurate and sometimes I’ll literally be talking to a stranger and their voice will turn into something from my past or some garbled demonic sounding crap lol... we have what’s called audible memories... our brain will cheat and just replay something if it can’t figure what else it’s suppose to be:.. or it will just mix a bunch of crazy shit together jumbling it all up...

      Anyway I guess when he got in there he said it was probably a month or so away from completing the breach into my brain space... which the pressure would be not good for me... so they had to graft a patch to fix the hole and cut out the growth, install new hardware and rebuild it all... 4.5 hours... so, guess my money I saved for this isn’t going to be right lol... they will have to take payments. I was prepared for the original quote. Not for a complete overhaul.

      So hopefully the tubes do their job and regulate that pressure for me... otherwise next year will be a repeat.. it’s quite frustrating...
      Damn cowboy. I'm sorry.

      I've been lucky with my little guy. 1 ear infection and, my first one was when I was like 8.. my younger sister on the other hand.
