      10 Day Fast/Cleanse

      So I just finished a 10 day fast, not a bite of food for 10 straight days. This was the longest I've ever gone on a fast and I was really doubtful that I would be able to do it....lol

      I seriously feel the best I have in years! Energy is way up, mood is amazing, my skin is so clear, I feel strong, my sex drive is even up, I just feel so clean and healthy!! I'm so glad I did this! Besides after no food for 10 days it makes sticking to any diet easy! Chicken and broccoli everyday sounds like a treat...lol

      What I did was make this "Lemonade" made with water, organic lemon juice, pure maple syrup and cayenne pepper. I sipped on this throughout the day, then I drank like 2 gallons of water a day (or as close to it as I could) and then at night I drank a Epsom salt and warm water drink to flush everything out. I never felt weak or tired and I only felt hungry maybe like twice the whole time.

      If I haven't been on that much the last 10 days its partly because I really tired to stay active non stop during this fast so I wouldn't find myself sitting around bored and thinking about eating.....lol

      Wait what 10 days straight without any food thsts just insane. The discipline you need to accomplish that task is remarkable. Me myself could I do it ya if I had to but chances are I would be a miserable prick. How is that even possible to not feel tired or weak? If you dont mind me asking do you work? And if so is it a labor intensive job? I get the whole drinking water thing cause it will definitely make you full and it's a task itself to drink 2 gallons day Caylee that also isnt a easy thing. How much weight did you lose? I guess at the end of the day its mind over matter.

      What made you really want to do it like ok I'm going to start today?

      I commend you bro cause I really dont think I could do it. Just the discipline you need is insane.

      Yeah 10 days is pretty intense! I have done 3 days with only water and some sea salt for electrolytes. After the first 36 hrs your appetite goes away and you quite focus

      I guess it was more of a cleanse than a fast. But I only drank about 24oz of the lemon water a day.

      Bro.... I feel stronger than I have in a long time! About a year ago I found out I had a autoimmune disease triggered by certain foods. Figuring out which food would cause flare up was a pain in the ass! So I just said fuck it and ignored it. Well that was a horrible mistake, eating things that "triggered" my condition lead to a ton of inflammation in my digestive system. I had no energy, put some fat on, depressed, just felt like complete shit!

      So I thought about doing a cleanse to detox my body and came across this one called "The Master Cleanse" and it honestly worked wonders!! And now that my body is reset I can slowly add food back in and see how my body reacts to certain things. Like I'm starting with vegetables, I made a big pot of vegetable soup. I'm gonna eat on this for a couple days then add chicken or fish in. Then slowly add more into my diet.

      I gained about 40lbs in the past year and a half but lost 35lbs in the past 10 days!! So I'm almost back to my old self. My motivation is through the roof right now!

      10 days?! Amazing...

      I do 24 hours once a month and I'm literally ready to kill someone at hour 16 of my fast.

      What was your training like during your fast or did you stay out the gym?
