How young are you Radman? I'm 45. Grew up bike riding (no helmet), played dodgeball and "smear the queer", had to be home when the street lights came on. I played organized sports and, when we lost, we didn't get a trophy. We got motivated to get better and win next time.

We Listened to Prince, Fleetwood Mac, Led Zeppelin, and later - Nirvana, Alice in Chains, and Pearl Jam.

Boys were boys and girls were girls. Holding a girls hand wasn't misconstrued as sexual assault.

We said "yes ma'am" and "yes sir" - you better respect your elders.

Things were so much more simple and sincere.
