Vo2 RMR test:
2736 calories at rest
Body fuels (current diet high protein high fat low carb)
84% fat
16% carbs


My kcal was estimated from 2100 to 2600 (fit body 570 was most accurate till this)
Actuall numbers were 2736kcal

My body fat % was estimated from 6.2 to 7while bulking actuall was 8.6 (most systems dont account for actuall bone mass so that's incorporated into lean mass).

DEXA SCAN
Scans your whole body, gives you a breakdown of alot of areas not available to other sources.
Bf%, Bone density, skeletal weight, visceral fat %, where you carry your fat, and more....pretty amazing svan and way more informative than I had realized...

Vo2 RMR
You breath into a mask that reads your vo2 and vco2 air in carbon out...takes about 15 to 20 minutes, they find a consistent pattern of breath and reading and pull that...it will tell you calories needed, what your body is fueling itself on ie carbs fats and what percentage...
It provides other info as well...I will venture into that myself later....

There are alot of great systems to get a number so you can adjust and work off of, all of them can be effective it's your diet and dedication that make it happen anywase...

I just wanted to go a step further and get some real accuracy. I like real numbers and real bf%...what I found was the DEXA is accurate and as disappointing as the number was I feel better and more motivated to actually bring it down legitimately and maintain...no reason to do it, Im not a pro. Its just a personal bucket list....


I am in the process of bulking so I know I'm up a couple % bf from my normal daily weight it in my head I had it lower (people are hopefull lol).
