I have a habit of lifting up my legs in the air when i bench. feels better to me.
There a good reason to do this?

Keep your feet on the floor and ass on the bench, as you increase weight you will need it for balance and power.

lol, yea. that's what everyone is telling me. i don't think I've done it above 185lb. try to kill that habit

Yeah I would think upper weights would prohibit that.
