Todays workout was a 1.25 mile run nothing crazy just ran circles around the yard with my dogs so they could get some pent up energy out.
I can say though running a mile is easy now even if it's not the fastest pace. I can get my breathing and heartrate back to normal within a minute of stopping running. Progress GET SOME!

Woke up early for another concrete pour. I havemt had a good night's sleep for 4 days now. I either toss and turn throughout the night or on nights I try to get to bed around 6 or 7pm my phone ends up ringing or blowing up. I've had to put my phone in silent 2 nights in a row and I hate doing that shit because if someone truly needs me in the middle of the night for an emergency I wont be able to respond until I wake up and see it. Telemarketers called me at 9:30pm just as I was starting to get into deep sleep and fucked it all up.
Im home early though so I'm going to soak in Epsom salt bath then train.

Todays workout was short, I just didnt have any gas in the tank from the lack of sleep this week. I hit back, shoulders, hamstrings, and biceps. 1 exercise for each body part taken to failure for 2 sets. I think this is enough to stimulate some kind of muscle protein synthesis, at very least maintain my muscle mass I have.
I just need a good night's sleep, thank God tomorrow is Friday.

Good night's sleep never came, I woke a multiple times throughout the night last night.
No training today, I want a rest day today.
I didnt want to accept it but the same time I stopped smoking pot is the same time my sleep quality went to shit. I dont want to sound dependent on it but it really does make my sleep quality better, in turn increasing my recovery from work and training. I take various other sleep aids that are herbal mixtures, melatonin, GABA, and teas. Those dont hold a candle to cannabis for sleep though.
It also doesnt help that genetically prone to being a light sleeper and waking up easily during the night. Perhaps I might pick it back up and dose it strictly before bed in small amounts to get my good quality sleep back because this isn't enjoyable being this tired day after day.

U quit??? Nooooooo! No better sleep and depending on strain it helps me do some crazy cardio and focused work.
My anxiety goes from 10 down to maybe 2-3 just from incorporating this into my daily routine. So many positives to it my man but I’m sure you had a good reason behind it.
Solid work brother

Yeah I went and got some this evening. I already feel more relaxed before bed, time to pass out and finally catch up on sleep for the week.
Good night

Todays workout included pistol squats, DB squats, dips, pull ups, OH triceps on a chair, 1/8th mile sprints.
I am still getting my energy back from this past week but I got it done.
