It is all fiction.. I don't condone any of it in real life. I am not a professional or medical doctor just a figment of your imagination

Hell yeah brother!!! Our days are SO close!! It’s a good time of year to do it I say ;0) Huge congrats to you man! I think it’s bad ass seeing everyone beating the odds and the statistics! This place truly attracts the strong, from all walks of life and here we are cheerleading for each other, encouraging each other and being there for each other... it’s a true brotherhood/family. What a life we have created for ourselves.

Y'all, I'll never forget the day I first seen him. I always stayed the farthest away from guys in the rooms because I heard so many "guy meets girl on AA campus" horror stories. I had about a year sober and hadn't planned on any kind of relationship for sure. But this dude! 60 days sober, smiling... like a real honest smile. I had to know why? Right! I found out that he had had 2 years sober just previously. He knew that it wasn't any better out there and he was smiling because he was ready to completely embrace this second chance he'd been given.
His sponsor told it today while he was getting ready to hand him his chip. I finally figured out why he had that smile on his face.
We work our programs separately, we don't try to sponsor each other, we don't discuss our steps. We continue to stay sober for ourselves, but as a result we get to have this relationship free of clutter, emotional dependency and old ideas.
I couldn't ask for anything more, honestly.
