Raw or minced garlic and ginger root help me feel better faster. Kind of intense and tangy but eat a tablespoon of each before bed and you'll wake up feeling better. Hot baths help cook the sickness out too, the virus or bacteria that's making you sick usually can't stand the sudden drastic temperature increase, helps give your immune system a fighting chance to get over it faster.
