I've never been one of those that day "I work out this way, or that way"! I work out EVERY AND ANY WAY I CAN.
There are times when I do a specific type. High volume, low volume, leg focus.
In January I want to do some contrast training for hypertrophy. Hits every muscle fiber. Similar to wave loading where you have loaded work and speed work one set to the next. It has been 4 years since I hit that type of training.

I used to go with certain types of training and stick with that particular style for several weeks but now I am changing up with every workout. To be honest, sometimes even during a workout I may switch up and add body parts, etc if I'm feeling that bodypart that day.lol

I am a little more on the planning side than that. Maybe someday I will have my home gym and can just do what I want.

Whatevers working for you now is what's best brother.
I do actually have a home gym and that makes it super convenient for me.
Like I said, at this stage in my life, what works best is just going with the flow.No need for a plan other than GO BALLS TO THE WALL EVERY TIME.
