      Made some significant progress on my big lifts this week. Got 2 more reps on rack pulls with 585lb touch and go(not bounce and go) and matched reps with 495 vs 455 set 2 and these were stop and go. Added 25lbs to first 2 sets of landmine rows same reps too I believe. Added 20lbs to Smith behind neck presses with same reps.

      Weight today

      Not mad at today's session at all. Progress on all lifts. Weight for squats and reps for leg press, ham curls, and seated calves, and weight for lunges.

      Squat
      380x7

      Pivot leg press
      8 plates +10lbs per side X 14 & 10 reps
      7 +10 pps x 12

      Seated hams
      135x15/12 slow and beautiful reps
      135x16 no tempo just pumping reps

      Walking lunges 3 sets
      20lbs x 14 per leg(length of room and back)

      Seated calves
      95x15/10/11

      I tried slow beautiful reps on seated hams and got fast and furious cramps! Lol

      I don’t usually have access to one so it is definitely new and feels great.

      Oh yes they'll burn you up for sure. Mine have tried to lock up several times and often did afterwards

      My hams are underdeveloped so anything new is great. The soreness afterwards is what gets me. Almost like doing seated calf raises at the end of a workout. I get cramps and my calves lock up. Not gonna stop though.

      I need to find a way to petition our gym for new equipment. I want a pendulum squat or a seated leg curl for the hamstrings.

      Never Stop Growing
      Ours don't have a lying leg curl so I use ankle cuffs and drag a flat bench to cables and do em that way sometimes. Drag an upright bench over and hook cables to ankles if possible and do em that way. It's not ideal but it's something. Elevate the bench on a couple plates or something to keep feet from dragging.
