Just curious why leg press instead of squats?
I know squats are very quad dominant, but for overall growth nothing competes for leg day, at least from my experience.
I've been doing cable pull through for my glutes lately, and man once I got used to the motion I'm really liking them.
Looking forward to the log, love it/kill it as Rich Piana used to say.

I’m just not a fan of squats, I have a better connection with leg press

Become a fan! For real the connection you have is most important. To focus on quads directly hit the smith machine for squats.
You can also try high bar squats or low bar to get your quads more. Lots of variations that work.

Would a pendulum squat machine work well for Quads?

Those Landmine squats hit the quads directly also. Superset with hack squats for real pain.
