Injection question (redness and hot skin lasting 2 days post injection).
For over 3 years now I've been doing TRT with a minuscule amount of deca/eq weekly now...
Every rare blue moon I would get a case where after injection I would get a redness of skin that would surround the area and a little beyond and it'd be warm and hurt to the touch.... I always assumed this was just due to chance as I always take care to use multiple alcohol swabs both on my vials and on the skin and always use fresh syringes...
But for some reason, these past 4-5 injections over the past 4-5 weeks have all resulted in that redness/tenderness the following day post injection and usually take a day or two and then disappear....
Is it possible that I've contaminated a vial? I've stayed with the same source for the past year+, so I haven't changed anything and am wondering what might be the cause of this?
PS. I usually alternate between left delt and right delt every other week and will likewise go from back to mid to front... I used to rotate quads too but always hated when I would hit an area that would twitch my legs out.... The redness will usually actually appear about slightly away and down below from the injection site by a small amount, but is definitely right there just usually underneath/below and to the side.

Could be scar tissue, shitty needles, body changes, etc.
Regard gear: try pinning another brand. That will kinda narrow that down.
Every now and again I’ll do something funky but it’s 99% of the time my fault. I’ll cramp up pinning or be shaky...but I’ve learned over the past few years that choosing the smallest needle I can get away with has decreased injection pain dramatically. Also using 1cc barrels have helped me stay more stable upon injection where it pushes so easily up to 25g.

I've been having a similar issue i was about to post but you asked the question i was gonna ask. Im gonna do what the gentlemen above me said and switch brands up. I hope a lot of folks chime in on this with more knowledge. Hope your delt feels better

As Popeye said switching brands will narrow it down if its that specific vial. They could have changed their formula a little this batch and its not agreeing with you.
Another thought, is it cold where you are? The gear could have crashed. If you want to give pinning that bottle 1 more try, before injecting take a blow dryer for 2 minutes and hold it on the bottle. Wait for it to fully cool off before injecting or you will burn yourself. But usually the blow dryer trick fixes crashed gear.
Another idea, try a different spot to inject. Go glutes and see if your getting the same problem. Could be that you irritated your shoulder on a bad shot, then you continue to irritate it every other shot you keep taking.
If a spot gets red after injecting this is what I do:
Heating Pad
Hot Shower
Icy Hot
Vibrator Gun On Area
Massage Hard With Your Hand
If its still red by 4 days start taking amoxicillin and if not good by the 7th day you need to go to a doctor.
