Morning workout changed since it's pouring here today. Instead of a run I did a low rep BW exercise circuit focusing heavily on calves, abs, jumping jacks, and the rest just moving blood. Went for 30min with short 20-30sec breaks from time to time to catch my wind as needed.

No surprisingly, when I run I go much harder. It was a good workout though, blood pumping was the goal and I definitely achieved that.

Started making my own kombucha today, sadly it takes 30 days for the first batch then subsequent batches less time. I already have organic pineapple and pomegranate juices to sweeten post fermentation. I used black and green tea.
I still have open holes from my wisdom teeth, no pain but eating hard foods still isn't working as the holes get filled and im.not risking infection. Been hankering for carrots, so I did the only sensible thing. Made protein chocolate carrot cake muffins, they're baking now. I'm going to make a protein chocolate peanut butter frosting for them and after dinner tonight I'm going straight fat kid on them. If they turn out really well I will post the measurements for yall, I actually measured stuff this time haha. I'm learning baking measurements are much more critical vs just cooking where you can doctor things up without much consequence.

Protein chocolate carrot cake muffin recipe I made. Could use more fats so they release from the paper baking cups better but I went for low calories so I could pig out, ate 5 after dinner haha.
1 Bowl needed if you mix wet parts first then dump dry on top but to each their own
2cups fine grated carrots
2 whole eggs
3/4cup egg whites
1cup FF vanilla Greek yogurt
1/2cup lily's sugar free dark chocolate chips
1tsp vanilla
1tbsp cinnamon
Dash of nutmeg
8 stevia/monk fruit sweetener packets
1tbsp cacao powder
1tsp baking soda
1tsp baking powder(aluminum free)
1/3cup coconut flour
1/4cup normal wheat flour
I added it all in that order mixed until combined. Preheat oven 350°, fill paper cup lined muffins tray. Leave 1/4inch of paper cups exposed. Also with coconut flour it soaks up a lot of liquid so after mixing let batter stand for a minute or 2 then mix again and fill trays. Bake for 30min or until toothpick comes out clean.
Protein chocolate peanut butter cream cheese icing recipe
1/2 block of FF cream cheese
1/2cup FF vanilla Greek yogurt
2 stevia/monk fruit sweetener packets
2tbsp PBfit/ peanut butter powder
1/2 scoop chocolate protein of choice
1/2tsp cocao powder
With a mixer and beaters or 1 beater if you want less mess, blend cream cheese, yogurt, sweetener until smooth. With spoon fold in the powder ingredients until combined then run through it with the mixer once more to make it nice a fluffy.
Then, we'll you know what to do haha, smash them things because there's really not many calories to these that aren't protein. They're very moist and dense muffins with plenty of fiber, I was quite full after dinner of a big meat stuffed pepper and 5 muffins.
Edit: thought about it and if you used fine grated zucchini the calories would be even less but the carrots have more natural sugar so it's a matter of how sweet you want them.

Today's workout was very productive, I got to lift with my buddy after work this afternoon. We started with a 4.6mile run.
Then hit legs afterwards
Single leg RDLs 135lbs
Nordic leg curls
Hip adduction(good girls) with bands
Lunges
BB Back Squats working up to 315lbs for x3(filmed it but the angle and quality were shit so I couldn't use it and blew my load on that set) back off set of 315 for a single.
After the squats I was done, I could feel my CNS going into power saver mode lol. Maybe I'll actually be able to sleep good tonight since I'm already tired. I have only been sleeping maybe 5 or 6hrs which isn't normal or enough sleep for my body to properly recover. Just been tossing and turning or just not tired from everything rolling around in my head. I definitely got some of the demons out on the squats though, I truly didn't think I had a triple in me. But when you channel the bad stuff you can do some pretty amazing things.
I'm ready for dinner, deer/lamb/cheese stuffed pablano peppers. I will likely smash the remaining 7 muffins I made last night with icing as well haha.
